Dr. Cohen, a social psychologist, designs performance measurement and management systems for the complex environments found in institutions and corporate environments. Her expertise is in the designing and building of unique causal models to explain and measure institutional reputation and brand, though defining and linking intangibles - such as sustainability, intellectual capital, strategy, and communications, among others – to selected performance outcomes. Pam’s work is done through unique qualitative and quantitative research design and analysis, with an emphasis on behavioral economics and intangible valuation. The results from her research and modeling work are used to develop action plans for organizational improvement initiatives. She co founded two strategy firms, Communications Consulting Worldwide (CCW), a business unit of Omnicom’s Fleishman-Hillard and Predictiv, LLC and led research focused on the valuation of intangible assets at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young’s Center for Business Innovation. Prior to Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Dr. Cohen was a partner with the consulting firms Sibson & Company. Pam has a Ph.D. in Sociology, specializing in Social Psychology from the University of Michigan, as well as master’s degrees in Sociology and Education from the University of Michigan.
